I have had trouble with my Lower Back from 2 Surgeries. Last one was a Lumbar Fusion in 2015. I have been on pain medication for almost 3yrs now. I have been off Opioids since January of 2016. Since then, I have taken Tramadol for pain. My script has been filled at the same place for the past 2 yrs CVS Pharmacy on Bridge St in Naugatuck. I recently had Oral Surgery on Wednesday February 28th. I had to pick up a few Perscriptions before my Surgery. Antibiotics, Mouth Rinse and Tylenol with Codine, 16 pills to be Exact. By Sunday March 4th I was still in Pain and almost out of Pain medication. By Tuesday March 6th, I was still in a lot of Pain and out of Pain Medication. I called my Dentist and informed them again. I asked for more Medication for the pain and they called in a Script to CVS that morning. Then had me come in to check me out. I stopped at CVSto pick up my Script on my way to my appointment. I waited 20 minutes in the drive thru line to get to the window. I gave the cashier my info and she confirmed they had my script. She took my license and form of payment but never came back with my Script. The Pharmacist came to the window and asked me if I still Take Tramadol. Bewildered I said yes, of course I have been picking it up here for the last 2 years, why? She said, you could have a problem with the medications. I asked why anyone didn't mention anything before when I picked up my Script before. She said, Well your gonna have to come back in 15 minutes. I asked why, my script is ready and I have waited for 20 minutes and I am on my way to my doctors and in Pain. She said that I needed to come inside then. So I did. Waited while she called my dentist and confirmed my appointment. Then told me to go to my appointment and then come back. I asked for my license and credit card back and left. I went to my dentist and had to have another procedure done on my mouth. Causing me more pain. I go back to CVS to pick up my medication and I give my information to the cashier. She gets my script and shows the Pharmacist, who says yes I spoke to the doctor. During my transaction, A different Pharmacist comes up to the counter and tells me to be careful taking the medications together. Again, I asked why wasn't I informed the 1st time, or why wasn't my doctor informed. She said we told you already today. I replied, You are not listening to me. Why didn't anyone notify me the 1st time when I picked up this medication before I had surgery or tell my doctor. She got Loud and Yelled at me and said "Well I'm Telling You Now!" I was Taken aback and did not respond but finished my transaction. When complete, the cashier asked if she could help me with anything else. I said yes, I would like her name. At which point the Pharmacist yells- You want my Name? It's Carrisa. Do you want me to spell it for you? Then comes charging at me from her station and gets verbal and abusive with me. Then asks why I want her name. I said because you are being Rude and Unprofessional. She said you're the one who is being rude. I said I haven't done anything to anyone or said anything rude to anyone. I am in pain and came to pick up my medicine. After I left, I called CVS's Corporate Office and filled a complaint. I was assured a return call by Customer Service. I have called a total of 5 times and have not received a response from anyone. I tweeted what happened on twitter and CVS responded how sorry they were and how they were going to make this right. Then asked me to send them my phone number in private but no one has yet to call me. I am completely disgusted at the way I was treated in front of all the people there and so disappointed in the Customer Service at CVS that I will never go back to that store location or any other CVS anymore. Me and my family will find a new Pharmacy from now on. They don't care about their customers or how their staff treats them. Big Corporation at its finest.

I was treated like a criminal just for returning a box of hair dye that I mistakenly bought the wrong color. The box was clearly sealed and unopened and the guy at the front making a point to humiliate me. Telling me that I might be returning an empty box which wasn't the case because it was COMPLETELY sealed top to bottom. All contents inside and it was still heavy so making the argument of an empty box irrelevant. All he had to do was open the box and check as he had already stuck his finger in the opening. I understand that people do stupid stuff and if the box was opened the question should be raised. But if the box is intact then there should be no issue and shouldn't speak to me like a criminal. I spoke to the manager and he agreed with me that he shouldn't be talking to me this way and that if the box was completely sealed then there is no reason to bring this up. I felt humiliated and upset at being treated like a thief. After today I will NEVER in my life set foot in a CVS and I will be transferring my prescriptions to Rite Aid or somewhere else.
